First meeting on ’ Fixed Mobile Convergence’ (FMC) and ‘4G Mobile Communications’

First meeting was organized, by M Division in TEC on Thursday, the 23^rdof November, 2006 to discuss the various issues related to’ Fixed Mobile Convergence’ (FMC) and ‘4G Mobile Communications’ and chalk out strategy and time frames for future course of action towards release of white papers/standards on the subject.

Sr. DDG, TEC addressed the participants. It was followed by a brief presentation by TEC, on the subject. Later, there were presentations by Centre of Excellence in Wireless Technology (CEWiT), Sasken, ZTE and Motorola. Representatives from Qualcomm India, C-DoT, Reliance, TTSL, Spice, Huawei and AUSPI also participated.
