Quantum Technology Division
The increasing prominence of quantum computing presents a significant risk to the classical cryptographic algorithms being used today to secure the transmission of sensitive data. It may impact many sectors, including healthcare, energy, finance, security, energy, etc. As a result, there is a growing need for quantum communication technologies to address the evolving demands of secure communication in a quantum-enabled era.
Quantum Technology division in TEC was created as part of 6G Technologies Division in January, 2022 to cater to the emerging technologies and enhanced role envisaged for TEC in niche technologies. The Quantum Technology Division was made a separate vertical in July 2023.
